Days 235/365
Saturday didn't turn out the way we'd thought it would, but it was great! We headed downtown and had lunch at Isabella's. Walking home, we saw Chris and Kathy outside Bushwaller's. We hung outside with them for a bit, chatting, when Team Fun came out. So we knew at that point that we'd be hanging out for a while. We had a great time. It was nice to just hang with friends again. Steve threw darts with Mike and re-ignited his love of darts. Here is the back massage train.

Days 234/365
Frosty Friday is a good way to get back into real life. We kept up our tradition of heading downtown and avoiding the malls. We started by buying a few presents, then headed to Firestones, where we end up every year. Then we were off to do more shopping. Then, that night, we headed to Cafe Nola to try their new tofu dinner. If you think you don't like tofu, you aren't allowed to say that until you've tried this amazing dish. Pan seared with an asparagus puree and roasted veggies. Yumm. Then we headed home and crashed on the couch and watched Hamlet 2, which I really loved.
Days 231-233/365
Still not taking pictures. Having a hard time getting back into real life and going back to real life things.

Day 217/365
Since my stupid knee injury has stopped me from working out like I'd like to, I've been walking to work. Oddly, walking doesn't hurt it. On my way this morning, I spotted this cool viney thing. Took some pics on the way home. After I took them, I realized the home owner was standing on the other side of the fence. He/she must've wondered what I was doing!

Day 216/365
Day 215/365
Had to work on Peds today. Had a really uneasy feeling about the shift. And I was dead on. What a crappy, crazy time. So busy, I just couldn't believe it. Made me grateful that it isn't my full time job anymore. But we started the day at the Farmer's Market since I didn't have to go in until 1. Here are some very pretty carrots that caught me eye.
Then, after work, I tried to salvage what was left of my day. Got cleaned up and we headed out to Bushwaller's for their grand re-opening party. It was crowded and I was literally too tired to stand there, so we headed up Market St. Every place was packed since it was first Saturday, so we headed to Danielle's for the Swag Party. Proceeds went to Cakes for Cause, so even though I was tired, we went. It was fun. We both got there in time to get Swag Bags. And then we ran into Jeff and Amanda and got to hang out with them. Then it got insanely crowded with a really young crowd, so we headed out. Decided to swing by Guido's because they had a blues band Steve wanted to see. Had a great time. Ended up closing the place down, which is RARE for us. But there was a strung out drunk girl who I could just tell was a train wreck waiting to happen, so we stuck around to watch.
Here is a pic of Shab Row, fully decked out in Christmas Lights. Apparently, they don't think Thanksgiving deserves it's own spotlight.

Day 214
Had the day off. Woke up and took the pups for a nice walk. Saw city workers putting up the Christmas lights on Market St. Made me happy, even though it is too early. I know they have to start putting them up early. And at least they aren't turned on yet.
Then, walked myself downtown in the afternoon. Was walking home and I saw Team Fun walking ahead of me. I'm not a yell out kinda gal, and I figured I'd catch up to them sooner or later. And I did, when they turned into Bushwaller's. I was so happy to see them. And even though all I could do was drink water (stupid diet), it was a fun time.

Day 208/365
Halloween is one of my most favorite days of the year. And this one did not disappoint. What an amazingly fun night. I mean really fun. Really. Hung out with friends, including some I haven't hung out with in a very long time. Just a happy, happy night. I wish Halloween happened more than once a year.
