Walked home from work tonight. This was the first time since the time change. I prefer walking home in the daylight, but was happy to catch this cool moon rising. It wasn't as dark out as this looks.

- I live in downtown Frederick, MD with my husband, kitty and two pups. I became a vegetarian in 2007 and a vegan on January 1st of 2008. Becoming a vegan was the most liberating, empowering, compassionate thing I've ever done for myself (and for the animals!). I'm also an RN and am currently the IT Manager of Clinical Applications for three hospitals. We spend our summers traveling to as many music festivals as we can and our winters playing in the snow (if we are lucky enough to get some in Maryland).
