Day 133/365
The hospital's featured demo meal yesterday was Greek Fries. Yes, waffle fries with "gryo meat". I think that is this is a less offensive way of saying, "you are eating a cute little lamb". It looked so gross, I thought I'd share it with you all...
On another, less gross note, Steve scored free tickets to the Colin Hay last night! I love, love, LOVE him! And free tickets rock. I've seen him several times solo, but never with his band. He was ROCKIN! It was a standing venue and we stood one row back, directly in front of him while he played a 2 HOUR set. It was so great! Here is da man...

Day 132/365
While sitting in a waiting room today, I picked up a magazine that had a story about the Jonas Brothers and their mom. I'm not a fan (I swear), but I started browsing thru the article. There was a paragraph about their decision to stay virgins until they are married and the chastity rings they wear. Their mom was talking about the fact that they get criticized because they don't have sex and this is a quote from her in the article (seen here very blurry):
"They don't want to go around giving everyone an STD. What so terrible about that?"
WHAT? They don't have sex because they don't want to GIVE people STDs? That is a strange reason to not have sex. I think both they AND their mom might benefit from some sex education classes.

Day 127/365
Steve got free tickets to see The Pretenders last night at the Warner Theater. Chrissy is so cool and she totally rocked it out last night. Her voice is still amazing. A fun time had by all. I got no good shots of the show, even though we were in the 20th row, center. But I took a picture of the woman in front of me, who I SWEAR had the same hair on her head that Tyler has on his hair pants. Same color, texture, everything. It made me lol.

Day 114/365
Steve got free tickets to see Paul McCartney at Fed Ex field. A Beatle...for Free?! Of course. So we headed out, grabbed dinner at Yuan Fu (yummmmmm) then headed down. We weren't interested in the opener, so we figured if we were in our seats by 8:30 or 9, we'd be fine. Well, the traffic was backed up on 495 past 270. It was actually the lead story on the news. We were going so late that we didn't think there'd be much traffic. WRONG. Then, once we got into the parking lot, it was about 40 minutes until they got us parked. I was so pissed. Well, we will leave it at that. But once we got in, it was amazing. Paul is 67 years old and rocks it like he did in the day. Amazing. And worth the traffic. Barely, but worth it. He sang tons of Beatles. I just couldn't believe I got to see a Beatle sing Beatles live. So we got back in our car and one and a half freaking hours later, we were out of the parking lot. I think Fed Ex parking is handled by idiot morons. In bed by 3am. Slept like a baby.

Day 113/365
Had a really great Day 113. Had dinner at Isabella's with Anne and John then we met up with Klu and went to the Cultural Arts Center to see The Diamond Dead. It was a "musical" with zombies. Very left winged, very, very funny. Loved it. From there, we headed to Guido's where we met up with even more friends and had a really nice night.
